This program enhances certified mediators’ proficiency in legal technology, empowering them to leverage ODR platforms more effectively in cross-border dispute resolution.

Curriculum

Part 1: In-Person Sessions

eBRAM Online Mediation Fundamentals: Introduction to eBRAM, online mediation concepts, distinctions from traditional mediation, and key considerations.
eBRAM ODR Workflow: Step-by-step guidance on case handling, including digital identity verification (eKYC), dispute identification, stakeholder communication, and solution implementation.
Technology Applications: Exploration of eBRAM’s blockchain and AI technologies in mediation practice.

Part 2: Online Simulated Mediation

Cross-Border Mediation Simulation: Group exercises simulating transnational transaction disputes to refine practical ODR platform skills.

Eligibility

Mediators accredited by the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL).

Certification Requirements

100% attendance in in-person sessions;
Completion of three assigned simulated cases on the eBRAM ODR platform by 12 May 2026.
Graduates fulfilling both criteria receive a Certificate of Completion and may apply to join the eBRAM List of Online Mediators within six months, becoming eBRAM Certified Online Mediators.

Terms and Conditions	Applicants must complete the registration form and pay the course fee on or before the registration deadline for the application to be valid. Course enrolment will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis among valid applications. If the applicant does not receive a confirmation email from the eBRAM Secretariat within two working days after the application deadline, the applicant will be placed on the waiting list. To maintain accurate attendance records, students must sign in and out when arriving and leaving the class. Unless the course is full or cancelled, course fees paid are non-refundable regardless of attendance. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted or remains in effect two hours before the start of a physical class, the class will be postponed or cancelled. eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre reserves the right to accept or reject any application and has the final decision. eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre disclaims any liability for changes in the course schedule, venue, or instructor at any time.
