eBRAM Supports Paris Legal Services Seminar with LawTech Innovation and International Collaboration

eBRAM was honoured to support the legal services seminar titled “Hong Kong Legal Services – Gateway to China and Beyond”, held in Paris on July 9 and organised by the Department of Justice (DoJ) of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

As one of the supporting organisations, eBRAM provided real-time AI transcription and translation services, enabling seamless trilingual communication in English, French, and Chinese. This support helped bridge language gaps between legal communities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and France.

Over 130 legal professionals, government officials, and business leaders attended the seminar, which was officiated by the Secretary for Justice, Mr Paul Lam, SC. The event highlighted the latest developments in China–France commercial legal cooperation and international dispute resolution.

Mr Ronald Sum, JP, Vice Chairman of eBRAM, was invited to join the panel session “China–Hong Kong–France: Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution”, where he shared insights on how LawTech enhances the efficiency, accessibility, and cross-border compatibility of digital arbitration and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR).

As part of the seminar, eBRAM also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jus Mundi, a Paris-based AI-powered legal research platform, to strengthen cooperation in legal and alternative dispute resolution. We are proud that the signing was witnessed by Mr Lam. Building on the previous MoU signed in Hong Kong in May 2024, this renewed partnership will advance collaboration in legal data services, AI research, and cross-border dispute resolution technologies.

Throughout the seminar, eBRAM played multiple roles:
- As a supporting organisation helping co-organise the seminar;
- As a LawTech provider offering multilingual AI transcription and translation services;
- As a collaborative partner advancing international cooperation through the MoU with Jus Mundi;
- And as a knowledge-sharing platform, promoting innovation in digital dispute resolution.

✨ eBRAM remains committed to empowering the legal community with cutting-edge technologies and supporting Hong Kong’s position as a global LawTech and digital justice hub.
