MoU Signing Ceremony between eBRAM and VIAC

We are delighted to announce that eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre (eBRAM) and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 23 October 2025 🤝!

It was our great pleasure to welcome Prof. Dr. Le Hong Hanh, President of VIAC; Mr. Phan Trong Dat, Acting Director of the Vietnam Mediation Centre (VMC), a division of VIAC; Mr. Chau Viet Bac, Deputy Secretary General of VIAC; Mr. Nguyen Trung Nam, Deputy Director of VMC; and Mr. Bui Van Thanh, Chief of New Sun Law Office and VIAC’s Listed Arbitrator, to mark this important milestone.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Ronald Sum, JP, Vice Chairman; Mr. Albert Leung FCIArb FHKIArb MIET MBCS CEng PMP®, Acting CEO; Ms. Yiwen (Wenny) Huang, FCIArb, Secretary General and Ms. Tinny Ip, Head of Business Development & Marketing, represented eBRAM and showcased our LawTech platform, featuring the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform and Deal-making Portal (DMP). The session also included a live demonstration of video conferencing in Vietnamese, highlighting our commitment to enhancing accessibility in cross-border dispute resolution through technology and language inclusivity.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Ronald Sum JP, Vice Chairman of eBRAM, and Prof. Dr. Le Hong Hanh, President of VIAC, marking a new chapter of collaboration between the two institutions.

This partnership signifies a major step forward in strengthening regional cooperation between Hong Kong and Vietnam in the field of dispute resolution. Together, eBRAM and VIAC will explore joint initiatives in capacity building, digital innovation, and cross-border dispute resolution, advancing the development of a more connected and technology-driven ODR ecosystem in Asia. 🌏⚖️
