Certified Online Dispute Resolution Training Course – Pilot Scheme on Sports Dispute Resolution Special was successfully held on 23 March 2026.
 
Organised in support of Hong Kong’s Pilot Scheme on Sports Dispute Resolution, the training programme was designed to enhance participants’ capabilities in handling sports disputes through Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), while contributing to the development of a more forward-looking and digitalised framework for sports dispute resolution in Hong Kong.
 
The certificate awarding ceremony marked the successful completion of the programme and an important milestone in the cultivation of sports dispute resolution talent in Hong Kong.
 
The training covered both theoretical and practical components, including:
 • ODR procedures, rules and roles
 • Simulated case handling through a dedicated ODR platform
 • Real-time multilingual translation
 • Online meetings and witness examination
 • Digital case file and evidence management
 • End-to-end online submission, communication and case administration
 
Certificates were jointly presented by Mr. Albert Leung FCIArb FHKIArb MHKIoD MIET CEng PMP®, Acting CEO of eBRAM, and Mr. Dennis Cai, Deputy Director of AALCO-HKRAC, reflecting the close collaboration between institutional support and technology enablement under the Pilot Scheme.
 
The ceremony also adopted a hybrid participation format, enabling participants from different locations to join both online and offline, further demonstrating the value of ODR in facilitating seamless cross-boundary connection.
