eBRAM Visit to Vietnam International Arbitration Centre to Strengthen Regional Cooperation in Online Dispute Resolution

To further implement our shared collaboration goals and promote the development of online dispute resolution (ODR) in the Asia-Pacific region, Mr. Ir Albert Leung FCIArb FHKIArb MHKIoD MHKIE MIET CEng PMP®, Acting CEO of eBRAM, together with Prof. Wong Kam-fai, Member of eBRAM’s Technology Advisory Committee, Legislative Council Member, and Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, recently conducted a visit to the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC).

The delegation was received by Mr. Chau Viet Bac, Deputy Secretary General of VIAC. The parties exchanged views on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the application of technology in ODR, and potential areas for future cooperation.

Way Forward
The visit represents a follow-up to the MoU and reflects the continued commitment of both parties to enhancing cooperation and facilitating the development of technology-enabled dispute resolution. eBRAM will continue to work with VIAC and other regional partners to promote the development and application of ODR, and to support efficient and reliable dispute resolution for cross-border commercial activities.
