eBRAM Participates and Speaks at the 3rd International Engineering Law Forum in Macau

The 17th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition (IIICF) was held in Macau from 10 to 12 June 2026. Endorsed by the Ministry of Commerce of China and other authorities and jointly organised by the China International Contractors Association and the Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute, the Forum brought together over 3,000 delegates from more than 70 countries and regions, including government officials, financial institutions, engineering contractors, professional service providers, and industry leaders to discuss the future of global infrastructure development.

Ir Albert Leung FCIArb FHKIArb MHKIoD MHKIE MIET CEng PMP®, Acting Chief Executive Officer of eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre, was invited to speak at the 3rd International Engineering Law Forum during the session entitled “Building a Cross-Border Construction Dispute Resolution Ecosystem: The Role of ODR and Beyond.”

Drawing on practical experience in infrastructure projects and the application of legal technology, Mr. Leung shared insights into the common causes of cross-border construction disputes and highlighted the importance of proactive risk management, proper documentation, and early dispute prevention throughout the project lifecycle.

Mr. Leung also introduced eBRAM’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, demonstrating how digital technologies and artificial intelligence can help overcome geographical and language barriers, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and facilitate the effective resolution of cross-border engineering disputes.
