eBRAM successfully hosted the eBRAM GBA Go Global Series – “✨IP Going Global: Protecting and Commercialising IP in Overseas Expansion” on 23 July 2026, bringing together business leaders and professionals to explore the growing importance of intellectual property (IP) in international business expansion. The seminar was conducted in a hybrid format and attracted more than 50 participants attending both in person and online.
The eBRAM GBA Go Global Series is one of the knowledge-sharing initiatives under eBRAM's Deal-making Portal GoGlobal eHub, bringing together our network of GoGlobal Masters—experienced legal and business professionals—to provide practical insights that help enterprises navigate overseas expansion with confidence.
We were honoured to have the following distinguished speakers from one of eBRAM's GoGlobal Masters, ELLALAN, share their expertise:
▶️Rosita Li, Partner of ELLALAN & Co-Chairperson, eBRAM Film and Television Culture Industry Committee
▶️Tiffany Lam, Senior Associate of ELLALAN
▶️Grace Wong, Senior Associate of ELLALAN
During the seminar, the speakers shared valuable insights into protecting and leveraging intellectual property across international markets. Key topics included trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret protection; IP commercialisation strategies; cross-border licensing arrangements; and enforcement considerations in different jurisdictions. They also highlighted the importance of proactive IP planning as a critical component of sustainable global growth.
Through practical case studies and real-world examples, participants gained a deeper understanding of common IP risks, dispute prevention strategies, and best practices for safeguarding brand value while expanding overseas. The interactive Q&A session also sparked meaningful discussions on international trademark registration, brand protection, and cross-border business opportunities.
A sincere thank you to our distinguished speakers and all participants for making the event a success. eBRAM remains committed to empowering businesses on their globalisation journey through professional knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation.
