eBRAM at ISDTRA-2026: Advancing Trust, Innovation, and Smart Cities for a Sustainable Future

10 July 2026

eBRAM was honoured to participate in the International Symposium on Digital Twin Research & Applications 2026 (ISDTRA-2026), hosted by Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) under the theme "Advancing Smart Cities for a Sustainable Future."

Mr Albert Leung, Acting CEO of eBRAM, was invited to serve as both a speaker and panelist, joining leading academics, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to explore the future of digital transformation, AI, and smart city development.

In his presentation, "Enabling Cross-Border Smart Cities: The Role of ODR and LawTech in a Digital Future," Albert shared insights into how Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), AI, blockchain, digital identity, and trusted digital governance can help build resilient and interconnected smart cities while supporting cross-border collaboration across the Greater Bay Area and beyond.

A key takeaway from the symposium was that technology alone is not enough to drive sustainable smart city development. As digital twins, AI-powered services, and data-driven urban ecosystems become increasingly integrated, success will depend on establishing trusted frameworks for governance, legal certainty, and efficient dispute resolution.

At eBRAM, we believe that LawTech and ODR solutions are essential enablers of trusted digital ecosystems, helping organisations, governments, and communities embrace innovation while effectively managing risk and resolving disputes in an increasingly connected world.

We extend our sincere appreciation to HKMU, the organisers, fellow speakers, panellists, and participants for the engaging discussions and valuable exchange of ideas. We look forward to continued collaboration in shaping smarter, more sustainable, and more trusted digital futures.
