eBRAM’s CPD Seminar, “LawTech in Practice: How Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Platforms Are Transforming Legal Practice, Business Operations and Dispute Resolution”, was successfully held on 29 September 2026, bringing together legal professionals, technology experts and industry practitioners both in person and online.
The 4-hour seminar featured a diverse range of perspectives on how technology and AI are reshaping the legal and business landscape.
We were honoured to have Dr Thomas So, JP, Chairman of eBRAM, deliver the welcoming remarks and set the scene for the afternoon’s discussions.

🔹 Dr Daniel Chun, Vice President, Smart City Consortium, explored how AI, digital provenance and the Art ID Registry are reshaping copyright dispute resolution in Hong Kong.
🔹 Dr Charleston Sin, Head of AI and Data, HKSTP, shared his perspectives on AI technology trends and their implications for the legal community.
🔹 Ms Adeline Chan, CEO & Co-Founder, AAL Innovation, examined the application of AI in construction and contract management, offering practical insights into technology-enabled workflows.
🔹 Mr Philip Tsang, Consultant Solicitor, Stevenson, Wong & Co., shared his experience on the evolution of legal practice, and how technology and digital platforms can make a tangible difference to legal and corporate operations.
🔹 Mr Raymond Ngai, Board Director and Chairman of eBRAM’s AI Taskforce, addressed the often-overlooked non-functional considerations in the use of AI, including reliability, security, auditability, confidentiality and compliance.
🔹 Mr Horace Wong SC, JP, Board Director and AI Taskforce Committee Member of eBRAM and Co-Head of Rede Chambers, explored the risks, opportunities and professional responsibilities associated with Generative AI in Hong Kong litigation and arbitration.
