eBRAM Participates in The Inaugural HK LawTech Fest of The Hong Kong Legal Week 2025 Showcases Self-Developed Platforms and Provides Technical Support for Real-Time Translation Services

Join Hands with 19 Organizations to Sign Strategic MoUs Promote Digital Transformation of Legal Services

(Hong Kong, 3 December 2025) – Amid the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government and the Department of Justice's active promotion of LawTech development and the digital transformation of the legal services industry, the first "Hong Kong LawTech Fest" was held during the "Hong Kong Legal Week 2025". This event brought together leading LawTech enterprises from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and overseas to showcase the latest innovations, highlighting Hong Kong's international influence in the field of LawTech. As a local LawTech institute established with the support of  the HKSAR Government and the Department of Justice, eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre (“eBRAM”) is honored to participate in this distinguished event and provide technical support for the real-time voice translation services for the three-day "Insight Stage" segment, ensuring seamless communication across languages and enhancing overall inclusivity and efficiency.

At the Insight Stage session titled “AI Empowering Smart Dispute Resolution: Building a New Era of Cross-Border Collaboration” held on 3 December, Mr. Ronald Sum JP, Vice Chairman of eBRAM, and Mr. Albert Leung, Acting CEO of eBRAM, presented to global attendees eBRAM’s self-developed AI-driven LawTech platforms. These platforms include the Online Dispute Resolution Platform (ODR) and the Deal-Making Platform (DMP). Both platforms integrate blockchain, AI, and cloud technology, aiming to provide users with a secure, efficient, and cost-effective one-stop solution for cross-border transaction and dispute resolution.

During the event, eBRAM signed the “Deal-Making Portal Memorandum of Understanding” with nineteen organizations from different sectors via its self-developed online signing platform. This marks an important step for eBRAM in advancing digital transformation of legal services and facilitating cross-border transactions and dispute resolution. This collaboration will integrate all parties’ resources to jointly promote further  application scenarios of the platforms, assisting enterprises in achieving efficient collaboration in their international development.

In addition to showcasing applications and signing strategic MoUs, eBRAM also provided real-time translation services and its online video conferencing system for the three-day LawTech Fest. Utilizing AI-driven multilingual technology, it ensured seamless communication for global participants, both online and offline, facilitating deep cross-regional exchanges. eBRAM’s real-time translation technology has been widely deployed at numerous high-level international events, successfully breaks down language barriers, and further demonstrating Hong Kong's strength in LawTech innovation.

Highlights of eBRAM’s Showcase

  • e-KYC identity verification: Specifically designed to verify the identity of users handling disputes through ODR platforms. This technology combines AI and encryption to ensure that user data processing meets international safety standards, enhancing the platform's compliance and credibility, and providing a higher level of protection for online dispute resolution legal services.
  • Real-Time Voice Recognition AI Translation Service: Providing real-time translation services among more than 25 languages, including English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Afrikaans, Arabic, Bengali, Danish, German, Spanish, Filipino, French, Irish, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Malay, Nepali, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Urdu, Uzbek, and Vietn This allows users to view and understand discussion content in real time within the chat interface, bridging language barriers and facilitating seamless collaboration across countries and industries.
  • Blockchain E-Signature Technology: Providing a secure online electronic signature system to ensure that online transactions are legally bound and are fully compliant with the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553) which regulates e-commerce activities in the HKSAR. To enhance user experience, the platform also supports mobile device QR code scanning for signature completion, balancing security and convenience.

As the annual flagship event of the Department of Justice, the Hong Kong Legal Week provides participants with an opportunity to engage in discussions and exchanges with prominent experts, practitioners, government officials and academics on a wide range of topics. This year, the Hong Kong Legal Week 2025 will be held from 1 to 5 December 2025, with the theme “Linking Laws, Bridging Worlds”. Topics to be discussed at the event include international law, developments in alternative dispute resolution, LawTech and AI, opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt & Road, to the rule of law in the region and beyond.
