eBRAM Internship Programme 2022

IT Department

The internship is for a period of two to four months starting from January 2022. The intern will be under the supervision of the Senior Solution Developer.

Tasks include

  • Prepare testing cases on LawTech platforms such as Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, Deal-Making system, etc.
  • Carry out testing for IT systems according to user specification
  • Prepare user guide and system documentation
  • Other assignments as requested by the team

Requirements

  • Qualification in IT or related discipline
  • Sound knowledge of Javascript, Node.js, PHP, MySQL and Agile development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Important information: internship programmes are full-time and not remunerated.

Dispute Resolution

The internship is for a period of two to four months starting from January 2022. The intern will be under the supervision of the Director of Case Management.

Tasks include

  • Read and draft documents related to arbitration/mediation cases in English/Chinese
  • Legal research and read legal documents in English or other languages
  • Preparation of conferences
  • Other assignments as requested by the team

Requirements

  • Qualification in international commercial law arbitration, with strong academic credentials and prior work experience
  • Proactive, outgoing, organised, and able to work independently
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is a must

Marketing and Communications Department

The internship is for a period of two to four months starting from January 2022. The intern will be under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications, and assist with the promotion of eBRAM’s lawtech and ODR services.

Tasks include

  • Assist in the preparation of both online and offline marketing events and campaigns such as email marketing and onsite logistic coordination
  • Conduct research on dispute resolution and technology development for the legal profession
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, translations, etc.
  • Other assignments as requested by the team

Requirements

  • Qualification in marketing, communications and business translation with strong academic credentials
  • Legal background is not necessary
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin is not a must but an advantage
  • Proactive, outgoing, organised, and able to work independently
  • Tech-savvy
