eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre Limited tasks itself to elevate Hong Kong’s arbitration and mediation services and build capacity to meet the rapidly expanding demand for online dispute resolution and deal-making services across borders. It is one of three listed APEC ODR suppliers in APEC.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic digital marketing assistant to assist our busy marketing team. You will be reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager and assisting with all related tasks. You may be required to perform administrative tasks, conduct market research, update the system database and create marketing literature.



Case Team

Counsel

As Counsel, your main responsibilities and tasks include:

  • organising and completing necessary documentation in the process of case development and proceedings
  • managing cases actively, organising case files and addressing any issues that come up
  • reviewing and processing documents filed by parties, neutrals
  • ensuring proper application of the relevant rules in each ODR case
  • preparing documents relating to ODR cases for eBRAM Committees’ decision
  • reviewing draft awards
  • increasing the efficiency of arbitration and mediation by implementing digital case management systems under the supervision and direction of senior management
  • proactively determining clients’ needs to ensure an overall positive experience
  • providing internal and external training in collaboration with other eBRAM colleagues
  • any additional responsibilities assigned by the CEO or the Board from time to time.


Ideal candidates should have:

  • a postgraduate degree in international arbitration, international law or international commercial law,
  • a legal qualification (bar admission), with minimum of four years post-qualification relevant professional experience,
  • excellent drafting and communication skills,
  • an organized approach to work,
  • be able to manage a team, and
  • excellent command of English and Chinese (Knowledge of an additional language is an advantage).

Marketing and Communications Team

Marketing Manager, Marketing and Communications (6-month contract)

We are looking for a professional, confident and enthusiastic team player with a flexible can-do attitude with expertise in branding, marketing and communications to join our thriving business. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will take full responsibility for marketing and communications functions; develop and execute marketing strategies, drive awareness of eBRAM’s ODR platforms and support business objectives via both online and offline channels.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forerunner in the field.


As Marketing Manager, your primary responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Plan, manage and execute online and offline events, including budgeting, brand positioning, planning, promotion, space design, etc.
  • Be responsible for the entire project cycle, from research, planning to execution, to drive and engage the audience.
  • Manage virtual event platforms, websites and social media.
  • Be the project manager, achieving different goals and objectives through different projects.
  • Critically evaluate and track the development and delivery of allocated campaigns/events.
  • Establish and maintain good strategic relationships with media (both international and local) to build a credible reputation and maximize coverage.
  • Support any other tasks/activities as assigned by the supervisor.


Ideal candidates should have:

  • Degree holder preferably in marketing or communications.
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience in marketing communications and creative agency experience would be an advantage.
  • Creative, strong interpersonal and project management skills, self-motivated, result-driven, able to handle multi-tasks.
  • Proven track record in project and event management.
  • Able to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent English and Chinese in both written and verbal communications.

IT Team

eBRAM is committed to attracting new talents to help transform our LawTech systems and operations. We are now inviting a dedicated individual to join our information technology company to support the legal community in Hong Kong and beyond. As a member of the IT team, the role will participate in developing and maintaining our Deal-making platform, Legal Cloud platform, and flagship Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) systems.

Software Developer

As Software Developer, your main responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Design and development of web-based applications including frontend user interfaces/functions, application programming integration with external systems such as AI machine translation engine, blockchain system, eKYC, payment gateway, email/SMS gateway, document management systems, etc
  • Understand the requirements of stakeholders to produce technical deliverables
  • Perform software deployment, debugging, testing and documentation for new initiatives and functional enhancements for the systems
  • Collaborate with the development teams and stakeholders in user departments

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Degree/Associate Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related disciplines
  • 3 years of working experience in web application development
  • Familiar with programming knowledge/framework such as React, Next.js, Node.js, CSS, PHP
  • Able to work independently and self-motivated to deliver excellent results
  • Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit

eBRAM Internship Programme 2022-2023– Dispute Resolution

eBRAM tasks itself to elevate Hong Kong’s arbitration and mediation services, and build capacity to meet the rapidly expanding demand for dispute resolution services across the borders, by utilizing innovative technologies to enable the city to become a LawTech center and hub for international business dispute avoidance and resolution, in collaboration with global organizations and participating economies such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Belt-and-Road countries and beyond.

 

eBRAM Case management team is looking for an intern to start as soon as possible. The internship is for a period of two to four months.

 
Tasks include

  • Read and draft documents related to arbitration/mediation cases in English/Chinese
  • Legal research and read legal documents in English or other languages
  • Preparation of conferences
  • Other assignments as requested by the team

Requirements

  • Qualification in international commercial law arbitration, with strong academic credentials and prior work experience
  • Proactive, outgoing, organised, and able to work independently
  • Fluency in English
